You should read this book!

Just a few quotes to stir you up...

Hebrews 12:3 (NIV)... "Consider him who endured such opposition from sinners, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart."

"When you put your confidence in your circumstances and your circumstances don't go as planned, your confidence is shaken." (pg. 209)

"Hebrews says that when your confidence is shaken and your courage is slipping, consider Jesus! What does it mean to consider? It means what you would assume it means: to contemplate. To think about." (pg. 209)

"The word consider also means to compare. Throughout the book of Hebrews, Jesus is compared to different people and different things to make the point that he is always better. Intentionally comparing Jesus can restore your confidence and hope." (pg. 210)

"When you're discouraged and losing heart, consider what Jesus did... put yourself in the story. Realize he did it for YOU." (pg. 210)

"Consider. Compare. Perspective tends to put the mind right where it should be. When you're tired and ready to give up, think about Jesus and say to yourself, this is nothing compared to what he went through. And keep running the race." (pg. 211)

Hang in there... a brighter day is on the way! You can make it; you will make it! God bless!
